Director's MessageYour Library Director Welcomes You ----------------- Thank you for visiting our website. I hope that you will enjoy using the library and our online catalog system , ebooks access with the Central Texas Digital Consortium, databases and websites, and available technology. For both the ebooks and the Texshare databases you will need to come to the library for a user name and password. The databases will be very helpful to you in your research for literature , history, health and genealogy. I hope that you will take advantage of using these databases. We are glad to assist you if you need help with your research. Come to the library to see our new look! In the Spring of 2010, we expanded our library and, through a grant from the Tocker Foundation, got new furniture. The library now has 4 Internet access computers for the public plus a patron laptop station, with WI-Fi available in the genealogy section. (you must have password to use the Wi-Fi) We have a diverse collection of books -- something for everyone to read! Every four months we get in a new set of 50 large Print books from Austin. The set available now is here until March 1, then the next circuit begins about in late March. (the exchange is by March 15) We also have Nooks for both children and adults, videos, audio books and CD's. In addition to the Summer Reading Program, the librarian enjoys reading to children and showing them educational and entertaining CD's throughout the year on an individual basis. Bring your toddlers to the library-- start them young with a love of books and learning. We also encourage the home school families to come and use the library.https://www.valleymillslibrary.org/about-us/director-s-messagehttps://www.valleymillslibrary.org/about-us/director-s-message/@@images/image-1200-0b8165288e669003e8b9a9cfc8fea1bf.jpeg
