If you are interested in attending genealogical lectures and visiting with others interested in genealogy, please call the library for information as to our next meeting. Our first meeting  in October, '08 was a lecture and handout on research by Carrie Tarrant of VM.

She has also provided a handout on DNA.

We had a combination book review and lecture on research by Sherri Knight of Stephenville on Feb 10, '09.

Documentation is very important.   As you research document where you found your information; if you compile into booklet or book, be sure to document your information.

Hint: when researching ancestor, type the name in quotation marks for a Google search!
