Gaye Lynn Seawright was elected as President of the Valley Mills Library Association at its annual meeting of Directors on January 16, 2017. The board and librarian expressed deep appreciation to Donna Boyd, out-going president for her many years of service and support. It was installed in February, 2018, and is behind the library facing the park. Gutters were installed on the library at the back and side of the building where the problem of water-run-off was.
